i remember this being a topic of someones but i forget what the answer was, my question is when i'm convert from avi to vcd it says an illegal floating decimal point calculation order, what is that, i have a file that is in avi and i got the wav from it from virtual dub, so what is wrong?
i also have these questions first questions is i format an avi file into tnmpeg and it settings are 650X352 how do i get it full screen on a dvd player like when u burn it as a vcd it only shows up some of the screeen and i have selected the full screen option but u have to play around with the resolution like the 500X300 to get full screen. so how do i know what resolution i need for different videos with different resolutions?
second when i convert the avi file into a vcd and burn it then i use my dvd player to watch it it has a green line at the top and it flickers during the movie, it is very annoying how can i fix that? please mesage me thanks.

first you need to extract the video ONLY using BBmpeg version AVI2MPG2_vfw.exe .it will give you an audio error not to worry you only want the video. dont forget to change the sizeof the out put to 352x240 it will come out as a m1v file.then make that an AVI with virtual dub but change the frame rate to 23.976fp/s. then run the origional file in virtual dub and extrct the wav .combine the wave and the new avi with TMPGEnc . burn youre vcd and enjoy
sprog
you can create the wav first then do the rest -
Sprog:
Excuse me for beeing a novice, but could you please take the a bit slower...
1) BBMPEG
2) Make AVI
3) Extract Audio
4) Encode
???
I'm not sure if I'm correct... I'm not on terms with Virtualdub... It produces gigaquads worth of files for me... I'm probably doin something wrong, but I don't know why... Could you PLEASE step this through a bit more detailed (or point to a guide) PLEASE!"The future is no longer what it used to be"
