Yes. Momitsu and Oppo both make players that are available in the USA that can be made region free for DVD playback and play Blu Rays from all 3 Blu Ray regions (there's no such thing as "region free" for Blu Ray playback, but since you can change the Blu Ray region any time you wish with these players, it's just as good). Momitsu can be ordered from http://www.hkflix.com. Oppo can be ordered at http://www.oppodigital.com. Note that if you buy the Momitsu, it comes ready to go. If you buy Oppo, you will have to look online for a firmware hack and apply this yourself after you get it.
We had a recent report of 2 Blu Ray players for sale in the UK that could play Blu Ray discs from all 3 regions and play DVDs from all regions, but I don't remember their names. -
I should also add that Blu Ray licensing forbids manufacturers from making the players able to change regions for DVD or Blu Ray, so what has happened in all cases is that firmware or hardware mods have to be applied to those players to support this after they ship the players from the manufacturer. No manufacturer ships players with this capability. In the case of Momitsu, someone did it for you. In the case of Oppo, you have to do it yourself or buy form a vendor who does it for you (for an upcharge).
