I recently got married and my photographer informed me that my photos from the weddings had been ERASED. So I have no pics from the wedding. I do however have videos. I would like to capture some photos from them. I tried powerDVD & Windows movie maker, these do not make print quality images. Any suugestions? TY

You will never get print-quality photos from ordinary vids, sorry. Even if (s)he shot in HD, you aren't going to be happy with the results, if you compare with an ordinary "real" photo.

If the photographer only erased the photos, but has not reused that memory to store new ones, it may be possible to recover the photos. He should pay to have a service do this recovery attempt.

Good luck -- I wish you all the best.

You can't get any print quality images from standard video. DVD is for example just 720x480 pixels.

    Doesn't the photographer make backups?

If you paid for this, time to talk to a lawyer.
