Hi, I am still learning the HD stuff. I have 2 questions.
From what I understand, Multiavchd employs m2t format, and authorizes video to bluray. However blueray uses alot of codecs, and m2t is not on the codec list. Can s.o. explain more this kind of HD stuff?
I have a Magnavox stand alone bluray player, will I be able to watch the kind of movie/video authorized from Multiavchd to bluray?
Thank you very much.

A m2ts file is not any codec, it is a container that should be used in a blu-ray or avchd video folder structure. See https://www.videohelp.com/hd#filestruct
If your blu-ray player supports avchd or blu-ray video on dvdr or bdr media you should be able to play homemade blu-rays(m2ts files in BDMV folder). Created with for example multiavchd. Read http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146339 and see if anyone have reported anything about your blu-ray player.
But some players can also just play standalone m2ts files from usb or media. -
How can I transfer dvd,files...without reencoding to bluray or avchd? I've tried for hours and all I got are BDMV files.
