    I've tried the hack that was posted here long ago

    Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there any way around this hack and do something else? Any help would be appreciated.

    It may not be anything you are doing wrong. The hack could be for a player from a different region or you may simply have a newer player which has hardware changes and/or the firmware has been locked to prevent the hacks from working.
