    I use dvd2avi vers. 1.85 and TMPGenc 2.52+. They seem to work fine for me.

    Use the older version of DVD2AVI, and use the 12j version of TMPEGEnc otherwise you will not be able to import the .d2v and wav files from DVD2AVI into TMPEGEnc.

    Wrong. You can use any dvd2avi version and any TMPG version as long as you have registered the proper vfapi plugins.
