Does the file need to stay AVI - could you encode it to mpeg using TMPGEnc or something?
-
Just wondering ... How long did it take for the encoding process to go? ..... and the speed of you PC?
-
Well - for a 15 min AVI it would take approx 6 hours with a 550Mhz CPU encoding to VCD template. (Using 2nd best motion detection)

Do you have some kind of massive video re-creation filter?
When I went from RM-AVI, the resulting AVI was crappier than the RM so I said "why am I wasting my time"
Is their something ur doing to make the avi good and not a huge pile of blocks? -
you guys need to use virtual dub after you encode the avi file from rm. Then you need to get a program that will allow you to sync the frame rate up with the sound. Then you convert the avi to mpeg and your finished. It took me about 2 hours to do a 44 meg real media file.
