Well, there's no harm in asking, but with it being almost 5 years since your only other post, I suppose this also bears repeating since I'm guessing that you don't follow the forums regularly. Many DVD players cannot ever be made region free. It's becoming more difficult all the time to buy players that can be made region free, particularly in North America.

It's really best to be sure that your player can be made region free BEFORE you buy it rather than just buying something and assuming it can be made region free later. Perhaps you will be lucky and someone will post something that works, but the odds are not good.
