    did they finally fix all the weird bugs with 3.5?

    You weren't the only one. It was almost a disaster for me!

    I think I'll wait for 3.6 at least, to try it again - in the meantime I'll stick with 3.0 which is supported through the end of this year.

    How does installing a browsing almost cause a disaster ? You have a nuclear submarine that has browser based controls designed for IE ? Perspective, people, perspective.

    FWIW, I have not had any issues with 3.5.x on any of the dozen or so machines I have it running on.

    My op system started behaving very strangely, not just when running Firefox 3.5, and even after uninstalling it. I had to do a System Restore to get back to normal.
