After accidentely erasing some video files from my Kodak Zi6 flash SD card, I recovered them with
Stellar Phoenix Macintosh (v3.5). The sizes seemed OK, they play in Quicktime Player but there's no image (black)
and a terrible noise as audio. Any suggestions of possiblities to repair these movs? They contain very important
    material to me.

First try other players and editors and see if it works any better, like vlc media player and video editors like avidemux, mpeg streamclip.

But I suspect the headers are corrupt and then it wont be easy to recover.

Thanks Baldrick! This was a fabulous tip which I had not found during day of googling. It helped me to retrieve some very precious footage to be used in an artproject. OK it took some 120€ but the support I needed for some hickups was very to the point and speedy. The way they costumise the tool for a specific problem like mine was very coöperative. Hail to Benoît Joossen "el presidente" ! Now it leaves me with the problem of importing the H264 H60 files into Final Cut Pro 5.0.4 WITH THE NEED FOR RENDERING! Used Compressor for the first time, used all the fixes I found but still got the report "Unable to connect to background etc". Any usefull tips for attacking this problem to avoid 8 hours of conversion?
