Excuse my ignorance,
I am trying to get some family vhs tapes to my pc,so i can (eventually) create dvd's
Ihave a video cassette player with the yellow, white and red sockets in the back and also 2 scart sockets.
My pc only has a hdmi socket, which i am assuming i would need to use... from here on i am at a complete loss.

Any help or direction to a guide would,as always, be most appreciated
Regards..Pensioner

Get something like a dazzle/pinacle multimedia USB device, or a video capture card that supports the composite imputs to allow the video transfer to your PC. Likewise you could just buy a panisonic dvd recorded like the es40v that has a dvdr/vhs deck that records direct to dvdr, or dvd_ram. In the case or DVD_RAM you can edit the DVD_RAM's *.vro file on your PC.
