I am using the mobile phone Sony Ericsson K850 and sometimes I shot films using it. MP4-files are created which I convert to avifiles using the program SUPER (eRigthSoft). However, now I have by mistake deleted some of the MP4-files from the memory card but managed to recover the files using the programs Stellar Phoenix Photo Recover (I get the same result using "Easy Recover Professional). Unforunately the recovered MP4-files are are "corrupt" as they can´t be converted to avifiles using SUPER (message: "Invalid floating point operation"). These recovered MP4-files can`t be played using Real Player or any other player.
    What can be done?

I have been having the exact same problem myself. I haven't gotten any advice, and everything I have learned has been from doing my own research.

I was able, using a hexeditor, to copy the mdata from the corrupted file to a working media file. Both were recorded from my phone, so the media has the same encoding. It took quite a few hours of looking through hexdata, referencing the information to "understand" what belongs where...

Sadly, the media copied to the working file is distorted and with no sound, but.. it gives a sign of hope.

Beyond that all I can offer is good luck. Keep checking back though. Scan this newbie section forum for my other post, it may give you some direction.. And, if you do find the solution, POST IT HERE! PLEASE! I will do the same

PM me if your interested, we can exchange email addresses.

Using the program "Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery" I managed to recover some mp4-files (and all jpg-files) but only those mp4-files which have been deleted recently. I have bought the Stellar-program.

PCI Inspector Smart Recovery (freeware) may work - I've pulled jpgs from hard disc, SD, etc.. with it. If not, try, Recuva
