Until now I havent had any real problems creating backups of my DVDs.
Its all been straight forward until I did a copy of Dune. The VOB files were arranged out of sequence, so I ended up with my encoded movie (MPG) where the ending and titles played first and the beginning was at the end. If you see what I mean. No problem I just cut and edited the film.
I have just ripped Swordfish with VCD Galaxy ripper (Smart Ripper) used DVDtoAVI and created the audio track, every thing seems fine so far.
Used TMPGnc to Encode to VCD PAL. The audio its totally out of sink with the film, also if I play the ripped VOB files, the first file is just cuts from the whole film, the second file is fine, the third and fourth files the audio is in French.
When I played the final encoded MPG there is no continuity between the audio and images! Can anyone please help me? PS If I play the ripped files on my hard drive using PowerDVD, they play fine in sequence but not individually!
