  2. might have been dvd2svcd.

most dvd9s should already have ac3, i don't think i've ever seen a commercial disc without it.

It's an old guide but it should still work for you. Of course you will need to rip with dvdfabhddecrypter or anydvd instead of the old dvddecrypter mentioned in the guide.

you might look at DVDReBuilder, it shrinks by re-encoding so you should be able to encode the audio.

  7. i wanted to let everyone know that i remembered what i did the last time. i am not sure if you all will agree with me but this is a lot simpler than the six to ten steps that everyone else has suggested.

i used ratDVD and compressed it to a .ratdvd file at the highest quality, it took about four hours but that is ok i let it do it while i was at work. when you make the .ratdvd file it converts the audio and keeps the menus and everything intact.

then i used ratDVD to convert the .ratdvd to a dvd5. this also took awhile but i let it do it last night while i slept.

then this morning i burnt the dvd and voila, i have a dvd5 backup of my music video disc that looks and sounds great. i hope that this helps someone else out.

    Peace
