I have a Twinhan/Azurewave AD-CP 300 DVB-C card. Picture quality is excelent. The problem is the file that Twinhans recording program creates for HD content. The file is an MPEG4/AVC/H.264 file but it's "wrapped"
in an MPG.IDX file which so far, I have not been able to recreate as an MPEG4 file, which is what it should be. I find it unaceptable that I cannot play the HD recordings with a conventional media player.
The result is that a HD recording can only be played by the Twinhan recording program.
VLC will not play it. I was able to get a picture, but no sound with AVIDEMUX.
    Anybody got any ideas?

Try and see if tsmuxer can read it. If it can then make a new ts.

    Is the extension .idx or?

Både ja och nej, Jag kan mejla filen till dig om du vill, det är bara 56MB. It did open the file, it did convert it to TS but there was no sound in the playback.
This is the info I got when I tried to do a TS:
    MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --vbr --vbv-len=500
    V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC, "E:\SYSTEM FILES\Desktop\TEST\SVT HD(14-06-09 11-33-31).mpg", fps=50, insertSEI, contSPS, track=224

When I play the file in VLC, I get sound and no video, when I run it in AVIDEMUX or tsMuxer, I get only video, no sound at all.
