lost audio after capture on ads tech dvd express dx2

When playing back captured video (ads tech dvd express dx2) after 6 min 12 seconds I lose audio. Have tried several playback methods. It happens on all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Is capture devise defective or did I lose something on my laptop? I am really new to this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried capturing several videos to see if it happens to all (as well as with several playback methods for one video)? If so, is it at exactly the same point?

It could be something stupid like the audio input connector is loose or even that the inputting video loses sound at that point.
