Using the windows DVD maker (pre-installed on my pc) I have tried a couple of times to burn .avi and xvid movie files to DVD. The preview looks and plays fine on the tv - but when I try to play the actual movie I get 2 screens sitting left/right of each other with a blurred image on both. The first movie I burned was fine - but this has happened for the past x3 attempts. Can anyone help?

Use an app designed for this. DVD Flick (free) should suit your needs.

  3. You could use a different program, such as convertxtodvd. Once authored as a dvd, use imgburn to burn.
Believing yourself to be secure only takes one cracker to dispel your belief.
