  1. Hi,

    wonder if anyone can help please?

    Have got some MKV files of some shows, have converted them to VOB file with mkv2vob but when I then go to author them with tmpgenc dvd author it does not recognize the files, any help?

    Because mkv2vob does not create any ordinary vob files. Use instead convertxtodvd, dvd flick or favc to convert the mkv to dvd.

    Thanks for that, was just hoping to use mkv2vob because it's so much faster than dvd flick.

    mkv2vob repackages mkv content for playback on specific platforms. it is fast because it actually doesn't do a lot of work. DVD requires the video and audio to be within narrow specifications, and if they aren't they must be re-encoded. This takes longer than just repackaging.

    i would recommend FAVC and use any dvd authoring software. I use TMPGENC DVD Authoring Works but it is not free. if you want free software, then you can use Google.
