Hi there,
I have an .avi and corresponding .srt file. I want to play the movie with subtitles on my PS3 via my media center (which is running TwonkyMedia). However, it does not pick up the subtitles. Therefore, I figure I need to either re-encode and "hard-code" the subtitles. Or I need to change container to one that supports .srt files. I'd prefer the latter option if possible.
Is there a container I could use on the PS3 that supports .mkv and would allow me to avoid re-encoding? If so, what software would I use to take the video and audio streams from the .avi and combine them with the .srt?
Thanks
