activation does not stick

whenever ffmpegx 0.0.9y is started, it performs as though not registered. I have registered, have the key, and enter it each time.
But it requires re-entering with every start up, I assume this is not normal?
Any solutions?

Try deleting the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.mac.homepage.major4.ffmpegX.plist and starting over. Perhaps when it creates a new file it will remember better?
