Hello I have an HDR-SR11 Camcorder and for some reason the m2ts video files that are exported to my hard disc don't work with Powerdvd. To be more precise, there is no image, only sound. I noticed that when I open the files with mpc, it uses the Cyberlink filters and everthing works great, it looks like Powerdvd isn't able to use its own filters while mpc can. I've tried it with both Powerdvd 8 and Powerdvd 9. Can anyone help me? I know it can work bcz when I formatted my laptop and had only installed Powerdvd 8 and 9 at the same time both of them worked. After some days and having only installed the Divx Pro codec it stopped working (even after uninstalling Divx Pro...I even tried system restore but it didn't work either)...Please help me!

Mts is a different matter. For some reason when I use mts files (if for instance I just rename the m2ts files) then Powerdvd is able to read them because for some reason it uses Coreavc codec with Haali media splitter. The thing is that after I formatted my laptop I noticed that Powerdvd is able to read m2ts files without having installed a single codec or splitter. So probably Powerdvd uses its own. The reason why I prefer to use the codecs and splitter of Powerdvd is because Haali has some issues with Picture Motion Browser and also Coreac has no hardware acceleration support
