    Very few Blu-Ray players even support Divx, none support it over ethernet. The only use of ethernet on these players is for firmware updates and "extra features".

    If you want to do more research, this is the forum for the Popcornhour media players, but they cover most other NMT media devices like the SYVIO too. They all use the same chipset.
