    when I am going to encode an avi file to dvdffmpeg so that I can burn to dvd disk to play on a dvd player, it asks me "where is the progress application? what should I choose?

    wow. not a good first post. what the heck are you talking about? dvdffmpeg??? start over and include more details of whatever problem you are having.

    I believe this is " encode an avi to dvd with ffmpegx".
    needs to be moved to the ffmpegx forum....
