Hi folks.
I want someone to send me a series of files over yousendit (100mb free, after that there is a fee for up to 2gb files).
I want to keep it free.
I need quicktime clips that were converted from 24p footage (1280 x 720), files were converted from P2 with log and transfer via Final Cut Pro.
I'm wondering if there is an approximate duration per megabite.
Example, my wife's HD camcorder will record 15 minutes of video on 1GB of memory.
Is there some ratio I can go with that'll let me know if I need to pay for the 2GB service?
The longest clip is about 30 seconds long.
Thanks in advance.

file size = bitrate * running time
So the size will vary depending on what bitrate is used. -
There are other free hosting options.
e.g.
mediafire.com has practically unlimited hosting (filesizes are 200MB max, but you can cut up bigger files with archiving software)
megaupload.com has practically unlimited hosting (filesizes <1GB for the free version of the account)
