First of all i need help deciding if i should get a small monitor like 32" for starters costing up to 500 Euros or if i should go all out and get a 42-47" FullHD Monitor with quality enhancements etc.
Uses i've got for each one
32" Monitor
I could combine this with my laptops hdmi and use it as an external monitor for media Files and Also CAD like applications for my proffesion that need a lot of screen space.
If i start by purchasing this monitor i need to start saving again in order to get the biggest and the baddest.
42-47" Monitor
No use for computer applications (software) but console gaming and Video playback is more enjoyble.
If i get this one, i'm all out and i can't use my CAD programs except if i'm standing in a great distance from the screen.
With 1500 Euros can i get a Decent 47 Monitor or it isnt worth it for this amount of money>
I dont have any experience with Digital TV's, all i got so far is Analog, and i need to take it to the next step, so before we go into the more specifics i need your thoughts on what's the best Size i should go with at the moment. Seeing as they cost lots of money i dont want to get too excited and rush into the decision.

I can't believe nobody else has yet replied to such a thoughtful post. I have 2 suggestions.
1) Decide whether the ability to use it for CAD is more important than your desire to have a bigger TV for gaming and watching videos and buy whichever is more important to you.
2) Samsung makes excellent monitors and LCD HDTVs (I have both from them) and they are the company I would look at it. -
IMO a large monitor is not good to use with a PC unless you are sitting at least 1m away,if you are using it at a desk then I recommend buying a 19-22".For home entertainment I would get a nice 42" HDTV and use the money you save over the 47" to buy that small monitor.
LG and Samsung make great LCD monitors and HDTV's. -
Getting a Budget 42 and purchasing the 32 with the rest is a good idea, only if i'm going for the big screen i'm going to be all out. LG and Samsung may be the people's favorites (I like them as well) but they're considered budget TV's compared to other's like Panasonic and Philips and possibly Sharp and Sony. How else can someone explain that you can get 47 FullHD Samsung for 1100 Euros while you can get a Panasonic for 5.000?
BTW i do have an LG 22" and although it's more than ok overall, it's not enough for CAD applications believe me. So going 27-32 is necessary for this particular reason.
Here's two of my choises at satisfactory prices, but will they be enough?
My problem is that i need to playback hdtv-rips with less than optimal res and i need the quality of the upscaler to be of high value. The Toshiba on the second link seem to have an internal Faroudga while the Samsung goes for DNIe scaler.

Is it worth getting a 47" at this price range or need i go Bigger, like much bigger so that i can ensure that quality is as good as it gets? Remember that i require a loot of upscaling due to internet media playback and this might be an issue on Budget Models. -
Sharp is a favorite?!They get bad reviews.
For plasma get a Pioneer or Panasonic.
For LCD get a LG or Samsung, some Sonys are good.
There are different lines(budget->highend) within each brand so do your homework before buying. -
I bought a 40" Samsung 1080p LCD HDTV last week at Bestbuy for $799 and the picture is awesome.
