Guru's, I need some help here. actually on two things but i'll post them separately. I have been using DVDdecrypter, flaskmpeg with panasonic plugin or LSX or bbmpeg, depending on the time I have and quality required to make VCD's. This is just some Background.

Now what I don't get is when processing multi-angle movies.. Using the thunderplugin to read the IFO file, I get weird results, like 10-20 titles that say angle 0 angle 1 etc etc with the same length.no matter which one I choose I always get incomplete movies by using the IFO...

Now as I understand it the ifo should contain the proper playing sequences (if you don't select an angle on the DVD player, the movies plays properly right !!)

So how come usin the IFo on multi nagle movies I don't get the right result... Is it just the thunderplugin to flaskmpeg or what ?

of course I can just process the VOBS one by one and finding the right sequences but that is very tedious...

Any help or hints are greatly appreciated...

  2. Which movie is this?

The Flask IFO parser can't handle IFO's which are too complicated...

In such cases, it may be better to use SmartRipper to parse the IFO and rip just the specific angle you want.

    Regards.

michael, thanks for the help. I guess the smartripper can do it, but I still am confused as to what settings to use with smartripper. If I leave the file splitting set to every VOB then still the individual VOB files are not correct and reading in the vob file in flaskmpeg gets confused. each vob has overlapping sections and stuff. If I select every chapter things seem ok but then I have to run flaskmpeg against every chapter VOB and that would require me to stay with the computer to get the whole job done. (at least I think so since I have to open eery vob righT ?????)

So what else can I do... ? Any more hints please...
