  1. Do you believe that Asus V7700 ti is better than All in wonder radeon to capture videos?
If you have a choice between then, what's your choice?

    I have the following system:
    Asus A7V133 bios 1005
    AMD athlon+ 1,4Mhz
    512 SDRam PC 133
    Quantum fireball 40G 7200rpm Ata 100
    Windows 98SE

I was using Ati aiw pro PCI 8M and I didn't have problems with drop, but I had troubles with them and I can't able to capture movies no more (I had limitations with codecs and maximun resolution)
My plan is convert all of my VHS to VCD and Dvix, lots of them are old VHS and they don't have good image. I'll use in NTSC, not Pal.

I'm still in doubt in use the Asus V7700 Ti 64M or All in Wonder radeon 32M.
If someone can to help me, I'll thank you.

  3. The AIW has definitely much better capturing than the V7700.

I have a V7700 deluxe and I am very happy with the capture quality. But then, I haven't used an AIW. I really think you can only know if you try both...it seems to me that everyone likes (or hates) the card they own.

  5. I didn't try the V7700, but I tried the NVidia Personal Cinema (same hw and capture software) and quickly returned it when I saw the quality of the captures compared to me AIW Radeon.
I instead upgraded to a Radeon 8500DV and I don't regret my choice (I also play a lot of 3D games)
