  1. i have alot of anime, n they r all subbed. if i convert normally with tmpgenc n put it on vcd or dvd. the subs ill b cut off the screen. I just need to add some borders but i dont want to do it in a 2 step process (like converting first with vdub then tmpeg)

    can i just add borders with tmpgenc and how???????

    the attempts i made seem to be good but then when i burnt the vcd, the file was only displeyed as a little box in the top left corner of the screen.
    can someone plz help me???

    Well, I had this same problem, seems that nobody helped me either. I tried looking into this but found nothing cause they were trying to talk all technical but anyways, I found out finally how to put the borders in though

    Well, you just open TMPGEnc and go to settings, advanced, and go to where it says Clip, and click on the box, and double click on it. Then click on Video Arrange Setting, click on the Center (custom) option and make the following adjustments, 312 204, that will add the borders, it works perfect on my tv, although I have read that the "tv overscan" is differant for everybody's tv, so you may have to mess with it. Anyway, N/P...later 8)

    The tv overscan question is answered many times. Sometimes it is usefull to search the forum
    However, you can not add borders without reencoding.
