Hi,
Ive been playing around with my dvb-t capture card, and whilst i can record etc. fine, and i can even play the resulting .mpg file fine in windows media player, i am unable to do anything else with the file, as i am unable to isolate the audio within it, whilst its possible for me to get the dvb card to capture in another format, it is of significantly less quality than if i recored just the source. I feel like ive tried everything to try and isolate the audio here, but it will only play in WMP or VMCPlayer with both video and sound, other programs, such as VLC Media Player will only show the video, with no audio.
I have recorded a 13sec file of a recording for people to see, if anyone has any solution i would be grealy appreciated. Otherwise iw ill be stuck to having to play the file once through with a sound recorder running in the background, and than use that as my audio track.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Issue resolved, after re-encoding it to mpeg-2 with tmpgenc the new encoded file maintians the same quality of the file, but the audio issues were corrected and vlc, and every other program also, can see the audio track.
