  1. Hello I have a 6 channel recording of a movie scene from Robocop, I would like to isolate ED209 voice alone and silence the screaming and other voices.

The file seems corrupt. Unexpected end of file.

But I would try audacity and goldwave.

edit: Something wrong with mediafire. The file worked when I downloaded the second time.

  3. I tried audacity but couldn't find a way to separate the voice because it's on the same track as the other noise.

In Audacity the robot voice is in the 2nd channel, also the gunfire. Humans are in the other channels.

Using Audacity, I hear the Robot and the screaming bystanders in the second channel - I don't see how they can be removed.

I noticed this, that's why I'm asking on this forum. I was wondering if there is a way to filter the robot voice in a frequency range.

    No.

Eventually such software may exist as audio processing has already become able to do things that were considered impossible or almost impossible back in the 1990s, but at this time you cannot do what you want. You can set a frequency filter but it's still going to let some of the background noise through.

Like Baldrick said, use audio software that supports 5.1., basterd. Like Audacity! That way all the channels will be preserved. If you convert to anything else, you're hosed, basterd!

Here's the voice only file: https://forum.videohelp.com/attachments/10883-1328984007/RoboCop.mp3

OK, Basterd? Hahaha, love that handle.
