I got a very annoying effect (for the first time):
I have some footage (DV type-1 AVI) from SAT captured. While editing I found that one scene is duplicated due to commercials, i.e. the footage ends with this one scene and after the commercials, it's start with the same scene again.
I cut this 2nd scene+commericials with ULEAD Mediastudio 6.0 out and converted this footage to mpeg-2.To my surprise, some frames (not all, but just enough to annoy me), popped up in the end result. When I converted the footage to DV avi, the result is as aspected- nothing from the cut out frames.
Any ideas, how this can happen?
Yes, I tried it more than 1 times- always the same ghost frames.

Eventually I found the solution to this problem:
I rendered the footage to DV avi again, zhen set up a new project with this avi alone (after deleting all temp files):
With converting this new avi to mpeg-2 didn't render the ghost frames again.
Seems that ULEAD is using some temp files for converting.Maybe that's causing the new fast converting (as posted some weeks ago).
Leeson (removing temp files when in trouble) learned!
