Hi,
The other week I bought myself a spindle with 25 Philips DVD+RW. Off these 25 I already have two DVD's I can't burn after the first time use. Is this though luck, getting a batch of DVD's with a high percentage of failures?
I use Nero to burn under Windows, but burning the same DVD under Linux failed too. (And I don't hope this is caused by a faulty toaster).
Does someone mind to comment on my troubles?

My experience with re-writable DVDs is that this sometimes happens. The discs are cheap so when it happens I just throw the bad disc away and don't worry about it. I advise that in the future you consider buying Verbatim DVD+RW discs instead. Verbatim makes the highest quality re-writable DVDs and you may have more success with them.

Thanks. And I thought Philips delivered the best quality. Verbatim it will be the next time.
