Hi, I have a couple of questions concerning the DVD612 model.

I can't get subtitles from a SVCD disc. Can this player handle subs for SVCD?

The player cannot display elapsed time for my own SVCD compilations. Think this has something to do with the variable bitrate (VBR). Is this normal?

Are there any benefits of upgrading the player with new firmware?
