CCE 2.50 or 2.62

Which one should I go with. After reading on this forum I've decided to use this for my mpeg2's but I've heard some negatives about the newer versions. Also I downloaded something called CCE Patcher by Tsunami and don't have a clue of what it does. Sorry if this is a retarded question but I really don't have a clue as to what it does.

I use cce 2.5 as dvd2svcd will only accept that version.
goto doom9.net and read what he has to say and instructions on how to set up his program if you use it you will be amazed at the picture quality.
if you don't have the cce 2.5 encoder try searching on kaaza or limewire.
