Don't know if it's my capture are encoding, but my final product (mpg) allways gives me an very empty sound, you know there is sound but it is an very empty sound, not like when you f.eks. download a musicvideo.
What can it be?![]()

pls don't double post. it might be either ones. if you want a better answer give more details (what do you mean it sounds empty?) how r u capturing what softwares are you using to convert?

Sorry about the double post (I have me reason).
Okay I have a Pinnacle PCTV Pro capture card i run in Vdub with huffyuv (at best), at 352x288 - 24 RGB.
I encode with TMPEG to VCD with Constant Quality (at 100) and VBV buffer size set at 40, Motion Search Precision at Higest Quelity.
I youse Interlace at some Noise reduction.
Audio set to Layer II, 44100Hz, stereo, 192, Emphasis: None.
It sounds like there is to muck Treble on. The sound is to sharp in your ears...follow me? -
spilt the audio to wave and try fixing the frequencies in sound forge or some other such audio editor...
