Hi all. I just installed FF, no errors. Trying to encode .mov into flash video. I select the video, pick my settings, etc., press Encode, and it's done in one sec with a 0KB file. Original .mov file is 20MB 3 min long. Any idea why this is happening?
Thanks!

I turned off audio, so simplify things a bit, here is what I get when I look at details (blue 'i'):

Thanks for the tip (doh! ) )

But now it produces blank files

I used VisualHub, and that works better...

 Thanks for your help!

Could you post the logfile for this latest attempt? And how big is the file that is produced? Is it still 0kB?

If it's a more or less normal-sized file, it could be ok, but there might be a playback problem. What player did you use to view it?

And yes, VisualHub is a great tool!

It does convert to other formats.

 Thanks for any help

Converting to FLV doesn't play nice with 'Invert mapping' in ffmpegX.Originally Posted by JoeBoldt
Try reversing the streams in QuickTime Pro before converting, so that 'Invert mapping' won't be needed.

Check out Jeroen Wijering's FLV Player, a Flash file that links to FLV files of your choosing, and presents a player interface on a web page.Originally Posted by JoeBoldt
