Hey, I want to start a forum (automotive in nature), I have no experience @ all, I have never even been an moderator in my time in any forums, so I don't know the first thing about it, I do not know how to script even in Avisynth, do you get my drift? I mean I know jack, is there alot of scripting to do, or is it just clicking here & there, sorry, like I said, I know nothing, am I better of forgetting this little dream of mine, if it isn't as hard as I think, what software do I use phpBB, vBulletin etc, please let me know your thoughts,
Thankyou
Regards Denis

You can download phpbb from here: http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/
Even with 0 technical skills assuming you have already purchased hosting it shouldn't take you more than hour to install it. that's a very conservative esitimate. I could install one in about 2 minutes but I know the proceudre... :P
You don't need any knwledge of writing scripts, the forum comes with a browser based admin control panel that controls all aspects of your forum.
HTML and CSS knowlede is nice to have becuase you can easily modify the look of your forum. Modifications of scripts for the most common requests come with step by step instructions.
