    I have a divx and the widescreen bars have been cropped. when played back on tv its stretched. i need to convert it to mpeg and de-crop it. but how?please help! cheers

    you can't de crop once it's cut it's cut. However this being said if your doing your conversion in tmpgenc you just have to tell it to keep aspect ratio it'll put black bars on top and bottom

    If you want to watch divx on tv with the correct aspect ratio i suggest you use zoomplayer, available via http://www.doom9.org
    look in the download section under players.
    Its my favorite player as it is easy with a right mouse click to adjust aspect ratios perfectly for playback.
