Hi,
I tried to watch a movie I bought from iTunes on my CRT TV using the TV Out (s-video) from my PC but I have run into a problem. I have to play the video from within iTunes as it is DRM protected and it will also not play in the stand-alone Quicktime player. I have enabled TV out from the NVidia control panel and set the option to 'Clone' mode, so what's displaying on my monitor is also showing on the TV. This works well using the full screen mode and the quality is fairly good. The problem is that during parts of the film where the camera pans across a scene, the video is jerky rather than being smooth. Slow moving scenes are ok, but any kind of rapid movement produces jerkiness. The video displayed on the monitor is perfect, this only happens to the video displayed on the TV. This isn't due to the CPU or video card being under pressure, it's something different.
Any advice appreciated.![]()
