  1. Hi, I have the latest firmware from the Philips site, but when I play Live Audio CDs(CDRs) there is a slight gap between tracks--the cds were authored WITHOUT gaps.
Is there a way to get the player to eliminate the gaps?

    thanks

Have you tried another non-Philips CD player? Were the gaps there or not? I once tried a home-authored DVD on a Philips DVD player and it showed button subpictures in all the wrong places on the menus. It drove me berserk for a while, until I tried the DVD+R on a Sony player, where it displayed as expected.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
