I bought my 80 GB PS3 earlier this month. I was playing a blu ray, heard a crack, and then ejected my blu ray to find that it had taken a 1 inch chunk right out of the blu ray. Has anyone ever heard of a PS3 completely "eating into" a disc before? Part of the disc is still in the PS3 (can hear it when I shake the console). I'm going to exchange it today.....but that scares me that something like that happens. Anyone have similiar stories?

Ripping Blu-ray you have to install linux, burning with linux, thats not fun. Google it and you'll find guides. Talk nerdy to me

Of course you can NOT burn a bluray, or any disc, with a PS3

If you actually READ rhegedus's post, or any post in this thread, not ONE person said anything about BURNING a bluray disc!!!!
 Except you!!!

But for 20 bucks i will tell you how to burn a DVD if you only have a standard cd burner 8)
