    Hello friends

    I have few videos in MKV format all have AC3 sound, and one video in VOB my question is, how to convert these MKV videos to VOB , I want the best video quality after conversion & I am ready to pay for the conversion software, so that I can create DVD of it with menus using Nero Vision express.

    Thanks.

    Not for MKV. MKV is a very hard codec to easily convert with a one-for-all converter, even when it says it can. Best way to convert it is with Vdub, and look for the instructions here to convert it.
    MKV: Merely Krappy Video.

    Subbers, a request from an avid viewer: Either don't use mkv, or supply avi or mp4 as an alternative.

    I've done MKVs by making an Avisynth file, eg:

    Code:
    DirectShowSource("411.mkv")
    EnsureVBRMP3sync()
    ConvertToYV12()
    LanczosResize(720,576)
    Then using HCEnc to make the video and wavi and Aften to make the AC3 (these were MP3 audio).

    Since you already have AC3 audio, you can just demux it and use it.
    I think AviDemux can do that.
