What's a good freeware title to do this? I was at the end of a capture from a VHS tape, and unfortunately, my dog bumped into the vcr, and hit the pause button. LOL So, i recaptured that part again, threw the dog a toy to play with, and now, i am on here trying to find out how to add the recaptured part to the other part.

    Please advise. thanks!

AVI DeMux can probably do it.

  3. Sometimes you can join MPEG2 files using the humble Windows copy command. If your two files are gooddog.mpg and baddog.mpg and you want to create a new file called joined.mpg then use this command at the command prompt:

    copy /b gooddog.mpg+baddog.mpg joined.mpg

Change the file suffixes to suit (m2t etc)
