i think your post was locked because you were asking for free movies. trust me. you don't want to take the time to download, convert, then burn.. your better off purchasing vcd's from the links supplied here, home movies, backing up your vhs collection and dvd collection.....

its pretty tough around here for that kind of stuff. i think its on the first page when you go to post something that says no requests or links to warez, moviez, crackz, and serialz.....this site has a good reputation for free info but that other stuff is an easy way to get shut down....so it has to be tough.......

I don't agree with most people, VCD is crap quality anyhow and the 700MB DIVX file i download usually has better quality. You won't find anything on a website, use edonkey2000 instead. And the other thing is if I had the money to buy the VCDs I'd just buy the DVD.

this debate has been beat to death... but one thing i wanted to say... you cant compare vcd to divx. there are to many factors to consider... if your just looking at picture quality though, are you looking at the files on a comp screen of a tv?? because im sure a good quality vcd rip will look the same or better than a good quality divx rip on a tv... reason is because of the low resolution of a tv screen... now on a comp screen divx will take the cake because of the comps high resolution.

now if you say divx is better still... lets see you play a "divx cd" in a dvd player.


another thing to look at is to make sure you are compareing a good quality divx (which most downloadable rips are good) to a good quality vcd (downloadable vcds all suck, they are mostly screeners). i was shocked the first vcd dvd rip i did because i judged vcd by those screeners that you can download.
