Genealogy and searching for wills

Anyone into genealogy and digging around in your family tree? Anyone ever have to try to track down a will and where it was probated from, and if you did, how much of a pain in the ass was it to do? Any idea how to find out who my grandfather's lawyer was before he died? I got one hell of an evil uncle who was a cop and thinks that he can get away with a lot of miserable shit because I was not there to pound his face into the ground...

There has to be a way to find this kinda stuff out, so I figured I would post it here, because in these forums I have had the extreme pleasure of interacting with many great minds...and as the old saying goes, two heads are better than one, so I thought I would see what the other members of this forum think...

To track down a will, where it was probated, (if it was), find out who your Grandfather's lawyer was, and fight your Uncle, hire a lawyer.
