Hi All
Actually I deleted some important video lectures (avi) from my laptop accidently almost 15 days ago.
They were deleted from windows drive (drive size: 180 GB).
There were around 6 files (approx. starting from 30MB to 1.8 GB individual file sizes).
I tried many tools to recover them but either I couldn't find them at all or if I find them then some of them are not in playable format (corrupted) and some which are play able, their audio is corrupted with noise.
Also video frames are constantly moving around and are not stable. Colors also fade out in some frames
Can anybody help me out first :
how can I make those videos' frames in order and stable form and how to recover their audio.
second:
What is the best tool to recover avi files.
(I didnt formatted or wrote any data on their space so I am hopeful about their recovery)
thanks alot to all of you
Aamir

it's not you that you need to worry about writing files, but every time windows boots it writes files and if the video files were on the boot drive, parts of them were most likely overwritten and gone forever.
your best bet is to get a copy of the source files and remake the avis.
other than that there are some avi repair tools in the the tools section in the left page column. <--------
