It's an avi. Open in VDub. Full Processing mode. Interleaving > adjust stew correction up and down between + or -ten, doesn't make a difference in playback within VDub. Do I have to save it to see the difference? Audio is lagging behind video.

I find that plus or minus 200 is a good place to start with some over the air recordings.

Tried "+200 ms" and made no difference for playback in VDub. Do I have to save it first to see the difference? Audio lagging behind video.

4 hours ETA now at 13% at full processing mode at +300 ms to see if it works. Sure would like to know if there's an easier way.

Just checked the avi dub in progress, same out-of-sync. Anyone able to offer suggestions here?

Play the original AVI in a player that can adjust the audio synch on-the-fly. I use MPC-HC. Figure out the delay and then adjust the audio skew in VDub. Don't do your testing in VDub.

    Full Processing mode
Use Direct Stream Copy for the video.

Thanks. I found a version that's synced well, but I'll save your info.

Make sure you are testing a video AFTER is it converted (Potplayer will play partially converted videos) because it may just SOUND like it is out of sync depending on the speed of your computer trying to keep up with many filters in use in virtualdub. Try it just with audio adjust only first. If you are using other filters, disable for test.
