  1. i still have the DivX file, the wav extracted from it and the final mpeg file.... but the volume is really low.

  2. you can increase the volume in virtualdub, if you frameserve, by changing the volume setting under audio (must use full-proccessing mode). you can also do it in tmpgenc under the audio tab in advanced (check the audio edit box - v2.5+).

    i suggest leaving the volume level as it is, very low, if you plan to play your files on your tv. if its intended soley for pc use, then increase roughly 200%.

  4. I had to increase the volume on one VCD in particlar, as I had my TV all the way up just to hear it.

    I used TMPGenc, setting, advance, audio effect, 400%

    This made the sound similar in volume to my other VCD's.

    Does anybody know of an "equalize volume" feature ?

    This would be were soft sounds are amplified and lound sound are not ?

    Sometime people in movies whisper too much, and the wham, the whole house hears the startling noice that filmakers enjoy using.
