Okay so here's the issue,
I have a video that I created for a dance company. I used Final Cut Pro to edit the video and then exported using Compressor's DVD presets, and then finally created a DVD with DVD studio Pro.
For the most part it's perfect until we get to one chapter in which for some STRANGE reason the audio only plays out of the rear speakers in my surround sound set up. The strangest part is that the rest of the disc is fine, and plays NOTHING through the rear speakers.
I have no idea what could be causing the issue. I thought perhaps because this is the one section of the video in which I had to dub in music from the CD rather than using the feed from the camera, but there's another section where I blended the two (cd and camera feed) and nothing comes out of the back in that.
I thought perhaps because the audio was sitting on the 6 or 7th audio track rather than number 1&2 but so i moved it up there, that didn't seem to make a difference.
I'm going to try moving everything into Soundtrack, then flattening it into one 2 channel audio track in that...
does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? I haven't TRIED to mix for surround sound so I have no idea why all of a sudden things would start acting funny...
