So the HD PVR is working fine, i have no issues with it. All I want to do is convert those .TS files into M2ts files so I can play them on my ps3. So far I've been having no luck whatsoever.

I edit out the commercials using H264_cutter. The .TS file outputted is fine, no audio sync issues.

I run the edited .TS file into tsmuxer and set it to output a m2ts file. Audio after the first commercial gets out of sync after the first video.

However, if I don't edit the commercials out and just mux the file straight to a m2ts file there is no audio sync at all.

I've tried the following:

- demux audio & video in tsmuxer, remux and cut, then mux into m2ts file = same audio sync issue

- demux audio & video in tsmuxer, remux and cut, then demux Audio & video, then mux back into m2ts = same audio sync issue

- demux using eac2to, then mux using tsmuxer into a new .TS file, then cut, then mux into m2ts = same audio sync issue

- demux using eac2to, then mux using tsmuxer into a new .TS file, then cut, demux again using tsmuxer, then mux into m2ts using tsmuxer = same audio sync issue

- demux using eac2to, then mux using tsmuxer into a new .TS file, then cut, demux again using eac3to, then mux into m2ts using tsmuxer = same audio sync issue

I've ran the original .TS file through TSPE to check to see if there were any problems with the video file. No errors reported

Another strange thing is that sony vegas platinum 9 can't open the .h264 file that's been demuxed

I don't know what else to do.

The blue ray creation tool with the include software for HD PVR works in creating a hd complaint m2ts file but it re-encodes the original at a lower bit rate if i edit the file and i have no control over settings that it uses for encoding.
